So Who Is Wendy Anyway?
Wendy - a new Computer Science/Bioinformatics graduate from Univeristy of
Waterloo. And as you can tell from the front page, I'm a Christian. I
feel very grateful for everything in my life so far: from my childhood
in HK, to the immigration to Vancouver, to my university career
(and the co-op work terms) at Waterloo, to my current employment at BC Cancer Agency... I think it's only
fitting that my principle in life is to love the Lord and love others
(the greatest commandment in Christianity) because I feel I have always
been loved. This idea may seem naive to some [Just like my favorite Winnie the
Pooh is silly to many.] but this is who I am. =)
umm.. The definition of love is so great that I think I can never
master, but at least this is who I will TRY to be.
For those who know me, I think you'd say that a description of me
won't be complete without mentioning MUSIC. I've been a pianist for
about 18 years now. I think I've always been a quiet person and
although I have many good friends, the piano remains as one of my greatest
companions. I have always loved playing the piano for choirs because
there seems to be some "magic" when people unit in music. It's a really
amazing moment... Through music, I find peace; through music, it seems
like I can feel my soul.
