My Family

[Hmmm... I thought about putting photos of my family here... But they probably don't like that. =P So I'll hide their faces for now.]
I have a loving parents and a brother in what I consider a harmonious family. I also have a HUGE extended family from both my mom's and my father's side that I had difficulty keeping track of who is who when I was small. =) I picked the picture above because I think it describes my family quite well... it's one with lots of different characters but one that's also closely tied and always look out for each other.
Mom
When I was little, I always felt that mom is quite demanding. But now that I've grown up, I'm starting to appreciate those demands which made me the person I am. It seems like the more I appreciate, the less demanding she becomes. =) Hm, or maybe I'm starting to prove I can take care of myself and she can start to worry less? =P Anyway, mom is also a great cook, a great knitter... Haha, I suppose maybe I can just say she's great at everything you can think of in a household.
Dad
Dad... A usually humorous father (when he doesn't have to deal with his troubled ships at work) . A father that always treat and protect me like a little girl. An all-knowing hero to the little girl. Sometimes it seems like he has answers to every possible questions I can ask (hee, may not always be 100% correct though). Dad is a great video game partner too! ^_^
Kenneth (Yoshi)
My big bro that's 6 years older than me. An all-admiring architect! I think the nickname, Yoshi, says it all. Yoshi is the little dinosaur in the Nintendo Super Mario game. Although my bro is 6 years older, he has always tried to "entertain" his little sister. I think our closest link is in playing video games and Mario has always been our favorite. I still remember when we were little, we used to play this game in which I rode on top of him... seems like a familiar image? Yeah, Mario on top of Yoshi! =)

And The Others...
And then there are the many aunts, uncles, cousins... I won't go into details here. I've been "the kid" for the most part in the family, except for the few youngsters out there. I must say I have always been "taken care of" (whatever that means) =P. But seriously, there are sooooo many role models for me to look up to while growing up. I think I've learned from the best Christians, the best engineers/programmers, the best musicians... And I want to say, thank you ALL for making my childhood interesting and for every guidance and support that I received!
